This is a tutorial that will assist you in setting up Microsoft Outlook to work with our e-mail servers. This tutorial is based on Microsoft Outlook 2007, however, the settings will remain the same for different versions.
Open Microsoft Outlook
Click on 'Tools' then click on 'Account Settings...'
Click on 'New'
Tick 'Manually configure server settings or additional server types' then click 'Next'
Choose 'Internet E-Mail' and click 'Next >'
Enter your name, POP3, SMTP and Account Login Details, then click 'More Settings'
POP3 Server : pop.yourdomain.co.za
SMTP Server : smtp.yourdomain.co.za
Username : your e-mail address
Click 'Outgoing Server' then select 'My outgoing (SMTP) Server requires Authentication
Click 'Advanced' and change Outgoing (SMTP) Server port from '25' to '587'
Click 'OK', then click 'Next >' and finally click on 'Finish' and now you should be able to send and receive messages on your e-mail account.
