Accessing your website using FTP

Step 1

Download and install FileZilla FTP Client by clicking here [Download FileZilla] Once installed, open FileZilla and click [File / Site Manager...]

Step 2

Now click on [New Site] and type your domain name in as a reference.
Under Site Details, enter ftp.yourdomain.co.za in the Host textbox
Under Logontype, click Normal and add your Username and Password
Now click the [Advanced] button as highlighted below in the illustration.

Step 3

Under Advanced Site Settings, change the Default remote directory to /public_html

Step 4

Now click the [OK] button and click on [Connect] and you are now connected.
Simply drag and drop your HTML files into the right-hand side window for your changes to take effect.
